300 VIP guests enter at 5:30, which is 1.5 hours before GA entrance, and 30 minutes before first taste ticket holders to taste the 25 entries in this year’s Steak championships.

This year’s RARE will have a large single VIP area on the field next to the headline band playing under the sculptures. There will be a comfortable, spacious lounge, as well as creative cocktails exclusive to the VIP area. Cooking demos with various chefs and other surprises will also await you inside the area.

About Field & Tides
Chef Lenig acquires his organic heirloom veggies from Huckleberry Farm, which is his father-in-law and mother-in-law’s farm in Round Top, Texas. Bobby and Ann Rauch grow tomatoes, eggplant, beets, potatoes, cucumbers, squash, and figs, as well as a variety of herbs and lettuce such as kale, arugula, and chard.
The upscale casual restaurant is open for lunch and dinner daily with brunch served on Saturday and Sunday.

About Pacha Nikkei
Pacha Nikkei will introduce the unique flavors, philosophy and techniques of Nikkei cuisine to Houston. In doing so, it pays tribute to a successful integration of cultures that goes back 124 years in Peru, and that has significantly contributed to the gastronomic wealth of the country. Pacha in the Quechua language of Peru means “world” and Nikkei is a Japanese word, widely used in Peru to refer to Japanese-Peruvian people. The encounter between these rich cultures has given rise to a delicious culinary expression that we would like to share with the world.

Opened in Houston in January 2023, Money Cat was brought to life by the talent behind the celebrated Katy sushi restaurant, Tobiuo Sushi & Bar. Following Owner and Executive Chef Sherman Yeung’s vision, we offer guests New Japanese cuisine and warm hospitality in a relaxed, minimalist setting.

Uchi, “house” in Japanese, is founded by James Beard Award‑winning Chef Tyson Cole. A delicate balance of elevated food and impeccable service, Uchi offers non‑traditional Japanese cuisine with signature tastings, sushi, and seasonal omakase.
One of the few American sushi masters, James Beard Award‑winning Chef and Owner Tyson Cole is a passionate student of the Japanese tradition. Having trained for more than ten years in Tokyo, New York, and Austin under two different sushi masters, he and the entire Uchi culinary team continue his path of study and experimentation each day at the restaurants in the Uchi family.
